Northward Capital is a specialist Australian Equities fund manager.
Northward Capital was jointly founded by Darren Thompson, Chief Executive Officer and Simon Rutherford, Chief Investment Officer. Darren and Simon were formerly responsible for the Australian Equities business at IAG Asset Management Limited. Remuneration of its investment staff is linked to the Trustӳ performance thereby creating a culture where Northward are focused on providing investors with superior investment returns whilst having the support provided by a large financial institution.
Northward Capitalӳ investment philosophy is based on the belief that:
ՠmarket inefficiencies provide opportunities to regularly buy mis-priced stocks;
ՠfundamental research drives high conviction valuation and stock selection; and
ՠstock prices ultimately reflect growing earnings per share, cash flow and strong return on equity.
Northward believes that a disciplined, fundamental research approach to identify undervalued quality companies will generate strong investment returns over the long term.
